We are a youngish couple with a passion for pet nutrition. Our idea to open a store came after trying to find a corn-free food for our allergy-prone dog.

We started to really scrutinize and research the ingredients commonly used in most commercial pet foods and were shocked and disappointed by what we found. Far too many cheap fillers and questionable ingredients are used in the majority of pet foods.

Our goal is to promote foods from companies who make quality, natural and nutritionally sound ingredients their top priority. Thus Le CHATeau du CHIEN was born.

Our goal is to be a resource for dog and cat lovers who want more from their pets’ food. By staying current with the industry and only carrying products we would give our own animals, we can help pet lovers everywhere see the benefits quality food can make in the lives of their pets.
